We found them through the next-door app to do our addition, and our neighbors recommended them. We met Ivan, and he was great, a good communicator, a straight shooter, and he clearly knew his trade. It gave us confidence as the potential clients. Before making a bid, he walked the property with me after sending him the plans so he came knowledgeable about our job, which we could tell by the questions he asked. His bid came ahead of schedule and it was fair compared to the market. Ivan and his brother Eric met us again to present their bid. Eric would be the project manager and really knew our plans inside and out by this point. Ultimately we saw in Eric a person that has a natural attention to detail and likes things to look nice when he’s had a hand in them. I appreciated how he handled his crews, kept the place clean, was polite with the neighbors, took care of everything for us, above and beyond in some cases. He was our guy when we were at work to help us keep the job moving along. This was great, it allowed us to focus on our family and our work knowing he was always there making sure things were done right. On top of all this they quoted the job to take up to 6 months and it was done in 4, there were few days besides weekends that there wasn’t something being done, back to back crews coming and going. They built us a master bedroom suite, expanded and redid the kitchen, a new roof, all new floors, insulation in the whole house, a covered patio. A very impressive organization, to meet all our needs as they evolved during the job. We definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the incredible job that Ivan and his crew performed on our kitchen and master bath remodels. Our jobs entailed demolishing our galley-style kitchen down to the studs, and then rebuilding from scratch. The bath entailed a complete demo, including rerouting plumbing lines. From impressive tiling, carpentry, painting, and appliance installation, the process could not have gone smoother. The Seneca crew is passionate about their work, extremely professional, and exhibit impressive attention to detail. Ivan, the owner, is honest, a great communicator and creative problem solver. Most of his crew members have been with him over 10 years. Of particular note, each day the crew spends about an hour at the close of each day cleaning up. We have additional remodeling projects coming up and would not hesitate to in using Seneca Contracting again. If you are looking for a reliable contractor, you would be hard-pressed to find a better partner than Seneca.

I just wanted to say you have a very kind, patient, respectful, and talented crew. This being my first time remodeling a bathroom there were lots of big decisions that they helped guide me through. There were some unexpected hiccups, but they made sure everything was correct and they were always polite and very hard working. It was a pleasure working with you and your crew.

We had a large remodel plus the building of a new ADU. Ivan and his crew are professional and the workmanship was excellent. The pandemic began during the middle of our project and adjustments were made immediately to keep everyone safe. One of the most important issues for me is getting return calls when I have a concern. I found Ivan and our project manager, Eric, to be responsive. With such a large project, challenges naturally occurred but their motto was “we want you to be happy” which is quite reassuring to hear from a construction company.

We contacted Seneca Contracting in early March 2021 for a bathroom redo. We wanted to use local area companies. Ivan Anderson was that very special person and my husband and I can’t say enough good things about him and his crews. Ivan helped us from the planning, estimate and even stuck with us while the financing was hung up. The crews were on the job every day–neat, polite and cleaned up every afternoon. Very conscious about making sure we knew exactly how things were progressing daily. All my concerns and questions were answered on the spot. During this whole process we had a young puppy that the crews took extra care to make sure things were safe. Special thank you. Our bathroom redo is complete and we are so delighted with the outcome. We were really pleased with the job Seneca Contracting did for us. They tore down our old patio cover and rebuilt a new one in record time. They also did some electrical work, added gutters and updated our gate. Ivan and Eric were very professional as well as their work crews. We knew what to expect every day.
